I feel guilty that my heart is burning,
not of desire; the excruciating anguish from the depths of hell.
Like the devil eating its way out of my body,
his fork impaling my wretched soul.
And he shreds my thoughts apart,
my mind stinging, bleeding.
As I writhe in agony, it whispered fervently:
“because you’re my son, my dear boy”
